Build the page your business does not have

What you do, what you offer, and a phone number people can tap.

About an hour. Most of it is deciding what to say.

Website builders charge from about $16 a month for this.

The prompt

Open a builder, paste this in, and fill in the bits in brackets with your own words.

Build me a one page website for my business. - I am a [what you do] in [your town]. The business is called [name]. - Sections in this order: a headline saying what I do and who it is for, three things I offer with one line each, a short bit about me, three empty quote slots I can fill in later with what customers said, and how to contact me. - The three things I offer are [one], [two] and [three]. - Contact details as plain text: [phone] and [email]. Put a big tappable phone button at the top and again at the bottom. - Warm and simple, big readable text, and it has to look right on a phone first because that is where nearly everyone will open it. - No login, no database, no booking system yet. - At the very bottom, in small grey text: "Made in an evening with AI by someone who does not write code." Delete that line if you would rather not have it. Show me a first version, then I will tell you what to change.

What to expect

It may invent a logo and a slogan you never asked for. Tell it to take them out. It is guessing, not deciding.

When it breaks

Say what you see, not what you want. Change one thing at a time. If it goes in circles, ask it to build that part again.

The longer version: nine things that go wrong, and what to do about each.

When this one works

Next people want a contact form that reaches them. That means sending email, which is the first genuinely harder step.

Pick another one, or take this one further. Either is a real answer.
